| Vintage Matchbox Advent Calendar |

We wanted to create an advent calendar using matchboxes to hide a special surprise in for each day.
Advent Calendars are a gift from our German ancestors. Each day a numbered window on a cardboard scene can be opened to reveal a picture to count down the days until Christmas, or in our variation, a matchbox can be opened to reveal a surprise!
In this class we will create our own Vintage Inspired Matchbox Advent Calendar using ephemra and embellishments to create a 1-of-a-kind calendar for your family to enjoy for years to come.
We will provide all the materials for the class. |
| We need you to bring the following tools with you to class: X-ATO knife, small cutting board, and if you have one a Coluzzle cutting tool. |

| Guardian Angels of Thoughtful Re-Use |

Design your guardian angel with vintage materials collected for their unique beauty. The angel backdrop will be old weathered fence board and the materials to create your angel include; old furniture pulls, rusty iron pieces, door knob plates, antique decorative wood molding, cutter quilts, vintage fabrics and trim, glitzy jewelry bits, beads, and other items too numerous to mention. I encourage you to bring special pieces from home to incorporate into your design but it is not required. We will use drills, hot glue guns, hammers and other tools in the workshop. I will supply all materials and tools. A smiling face and a “crafty” attitude is all that it is required. |

| Soldering Class |

Instructor: Randy Jones
Workshop Fee: $48 |
Soldering is fun and easy once you learn a few basic principles. In this class you’ll create a 2” charm and a 1” X 3” pendant. You’ll learn many techniques including copper foiling, wire wrapping, basic soldering, and decorative soldering. Each student will have their own complete soldering kit to use, and all other supplies will be provided as well.

The Egyptian Spiral is a centuries old design. This bracelet has amazing flexibility
making it very comfortable to wear. Artists have used this design for many years with
much variation. Helpful if you have knowledge of jewelry making.
